Sheriff: Woman stole from two farm stands in Montgomery County

An Amsterdam woman is accused of stealing from two separate farm stands on Saturday in Montgomery County.
Brittany G. Cloutier, 35, allegedly took $44 from a cash box at the farm stand on Truax Road in the town of Amsterdam, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Cloutier then is accused of taking ice cream and $150 from the cash box at a farm stand on Route 30 in the town of Florida, investigators said. Police connected Clouthier to both thefts.
She was found and arrested without incident.
Cloutier was charged with two counts of petit larceny. She was arraigned in Amsterdam Town Court and sent to Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
