a high speed car chase through several different capital region communities has happened.
A Saratoga Springs man was arrested after a high-speed car chase through several Capital Region communities.
Carmen Daniele was spotted driving a car in Troy Tuesday evening, investigators said.
There was reportedly a warrant out for his arrest for allegedly shoplifting from a Halfmoon store in March, and a Brunswick store earlier in July.
Officers tried to stop Daniele, 43, but he instead recklessly drove through Waterford, Halfmoon, and Clifton Park, investigators said. The chase ended on I-87 when Daniele drove the wrong way near the Twin Bridges, before stopping his car and trying to run away, they said.
He didn’t get far, and was quickly arrested.
He’s now facing a long list of charges in several jurisdictions.
