State Police make DWI arrests

State Police have released their weekly report about impaired driving arrests.

William F. Scott, 37, of Troy, was stopped on the Northway in Malta on March 21 around 2:30 p.m. for a traffic violation. He was found to be driving under the influence of drugs, police said. The charge was upgraded to a felony because he has a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years.

James S. Hollister, 65, of Hoosick Falls, was arrested on March 24 around 12:45 p.m. after a traffic stop on Route 7 in Brunswick. Police said Hollister had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.24% – three times the legal limit of 0.08%.

Anatoly I. Policastro, 28, of Ballston Lake, was stopped on Route 146 in Halfmoon on March 24 just before 8:45 p.m. He had a BAC of 0.19%, police said.

Manuel Tacuri, 32, was stopped on March 25 around 10:30 p.m. on Central Avenue in Albany for a traffic violation. He had a BAC of 0.19%. Tacuri has multiple DWI convictions within the last 10 years, according to police.
