Stewart’s Shops is joining other local stores that are limiting the number of eggs each customer can buy.
This comes as demand for eggs and prices continue to rise.
Stewart’s says it is limiting sales to 3 dozen eggs per customer.
The shop says egg prices now start at $6 per dozen.
Due to a nationwide bird flu outbreak, many retailers have limited the number of eggs customers can buy – including Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Whole Foods.
