Students from 10 different schools will get to make a video showing the Capital Region “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing.

This is part of a video contest launched by the state.

Students from 10 area schools will visit 10 manufacturing facilities, where they will make a video showcasing the work these employees do.

It will highlight the technology used at these facilities and also help spotlight pathways into a career in manufacturing.

The visits will take place in December.

The students’ videos will be made posted publicly in early 2025.
