Three-time Albany felon headed to prison for gun possession

A three-time felon from Albany is heading to prison for seven years for gun possession.

Corey Martin, 46, was arrested on Sept. 12 after police found a loaded handgun when he was stopped in the area of Quail Street and West Street.

Martin had three previous felonies for drug possession and distribution.

He pleaded to guilty to criminal possession of a weapon.
