Traffic, climate, urban decay top of mind at Albany’s State of the City address
Albany County Executive Dan McCoy gave his 14th State of the City Address on Tuesday.
Albany County Executive Dan McCoy gave his 14th State of the County address on Tuesday.
There were several major policy initiatives including improving traffic on Broadway, creating more sustainable and climate-effective roads combating urban decay like the Central Warehouse downtown, and addressing homelessness in the city.
McCoy is working on the homelessness issue with Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple.
The speech was held on the former College of Saint Rose campus, which McCoy wants to see become a new home for some Albany County employees.
