An area transportation company is helping to bring holiday cheer to families across the Capital Region. Brown Transportation is participating once again in the 9th Annual Random Santa Drop Off.
It’s a community-wide holiday toy drive serving families across Albany, Schenectady and Troy.
Working alongside the Schenectady Police Department, Schenectady Fire Department, and other local organizations, the program will use a Brown Transportation school bus to deliver toys to local families on Christmas Eve.
The program served more than 2,500 families in need last year.
Anyone interested in helping out can donate money online, or drop off new, unwrapped toys at the Brown Transportation terminals, on Sacandaga Road in Schenectady, or Venner Road in Amsterdam.
