Troy bar shooting suspect caught in New Jersey

A man on the run since a September shooting in Troy has been caught in New Jersey.
Shateik Merritt, 40, was arrested last week.
He is accused of shooting a member of the El Dorado Bar security staff on 4th Street. The victim survived.
Merritt was charged with attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. He was sent to the Rensselaer County Jail.
