The city of Troy is offering people a chance to get rid of their Christmas Tree in a sustainable way.

They are being collected during regular trash pickup on Thursday and on Monday, Jan. 13. 

Crews will then recycle those trees by keeping them out of the landfill and turning them into mulch.

You can also bring your tree to the Troy Resource Management Facility on East Industrial Parkway on a Tuesday or Thursday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
