Troy Police seize six guns after search of two homes

Troy Police have gotten six guns off the street after a search of two homes.

Officers searched residences at 362 2nd Street and 335 1st Street on Friday around 7 a.m. as part of a drug and weapons investigation.

In addition to the guns, they found a bulletproof vest and more than $20,000 in cash, police said.

Anderrious T. Perry, 44, of Troy, was arrested at the scene. Perry is not allowed to have guns because of a previous felony conviction. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and sent to Rensselaer County Jail.

Watervliet Police and the DEA-Albany Task Force assisted in the investigation.
