North Adams arrested two people on drug charges after a traffic stop. Police stopped a vehicle on Thursday for a traffic violation. The driver had a suspended license and was arrested. A search of the vehicle found 36.6 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging material for distribution and $2,08 in cash.

A search of the vehicle found 36.6 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, digital scales, packaging material for distribution and $2,008 in cash.

The male driver and female passenger were arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and conspiracy. Police did not release their names.

The driver is facing charges of operating after license suspension, failure to stop for police, failure to stop at stop sign. He was held on $25,000 cash bail, while the passenger was held on $100,000 cash bail.
