Two people indicted on gun, drug charges after Albany traffic stop

Two people from New York City have been indicted on weapon and drug charges in Albany.

Micael Sedano, 21, andMahamadou Diambou, 22, pleaded not guilty in Albany County Court to two counts each of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Sedano and Diambou were arrested after a traffic stop on March 11. They were pulled over in the area of Madison Avenue and Grand Street for obstructing traffic and not using turn signals, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.

Both were sent to Albany County Jail. They face up to 15 years in state prison if convicted.
