Vermont fugitive captured in Washington County

A Vermont fugitive has been captured in Washington County.
Deputies on Wednesday, Feb. 5 picked up Jake F. Desjadon, 37, of Fairhaven, in the town of Fort Edward.
Desjadon is wanted on stolen property charges and operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Desjadon is being held in Washington County Jail on unrelated charges. He is due back in Washington County Court to determine his extradition back to Vermont.
