Voorheesville contractor accused of taking deposit, not doing work
A Voorheesville contractor is accused of taking a client’s money and not doing any work.
State Police said Alan R. Livingston, 63, took a deposit of more than $20,000 from a Saratoga County resident in April 2023 for a home improvement project, but did not start the work.
Livingston owned and operated Saratoga Rail Fence & Supply at the time.
Livingston did not start the project or return the victims money, according to police. He was charged with third-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in the Saratoga Springs Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
