Voorheesville man allegedly drove drunk, crashed vehicle

A Voorheesville man is accused of driving drunk and crashing his car. Officers responded to a crash on Route 9 in the town of Malta just after 1:45 a.m. on Monday. Ryan M. Gerhard, 38, was intoxicated, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said.

Officers responded to a crash on Route 9 in the town of Malta just after 1:45 a.m. on Monday.

Ryan M. Gerhard, 38, was intoxicated, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

Gerhard allegedly refused to take a breath test or be fingerprinted, investigators said.

He was charged with DWI, obstructing governmental administration, refusal to take a breath test and failure to use designated lane. He was arraigned in Malta Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
