Warren County man gets nearly 4 years in prison for bank fraud 

A 25-year-old Warren County was sentenced on Friday to nearly 4 years in prison for his role as ringleader of a bank fraud conspiracy. 

Evan Culter, of Queensbury, and co-defendant Allahson Allah, 54, of Albany, obtained personal identifying information from people and used that information to obtain cash and credit cards from SEFCU, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. 

The fraud took place between February and October of 2022. The conspirators also obtained loans in the names of the people whose identities they stole and withdrew money. They took nearly $89,000 in proceeds, according to prosecutors.   

Cutler received 44 months in prison.  

Allah got 57 months in prison. Caeshara Cannon, 36, Davon Parson, 20, and Dnauticah Taylor-Sterman, 22, all from Albany, were also previously sentenced in this case.
