Warren County woman allegedly crashed stolen car

A Warren County woman is accused of driving drunk and crashing a stolen car.

Deputies responded to the area of Lake Shore Drive in the town of Lake George around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, for a report of an accident. Virginia Jakway, 39, of Bolton, took an acquittance’s vehicle from his residence and crashed into a guide rail, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said.

A chemical test revealed a blood alcohol concentration of. 0.11%. The legal limit is 0.08%.

Jakway was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and driving on the shoulder.

She was held pending an arraignment.
