Lawmakers held a caucus Saturday to focus on the challenges faced by migrants who are coming to New York.

The workshop was called “Hidden Crisis: African Migrants in New York.”

A bus of African migrants traveled to Albany for the event, organizers said.

Now, many of them are calling for state and federal leaders to help them get work permits so they can provide for their families.
