A new nuclear training lab is now open at RPI.

The new space will allow students to get hands-on training by demonstrating real-world power plant scenarios in a simulated room.

The goal is to support undergraduate courses through the integration of tangible experience.

The school is partnering with NuScale power, a provider of small reactors which is working to provide safe nuclear power for a carbon-free future.
