2 dogs were rescued, 1 still in missing.
11 people are without a place to live after an apartment fire in Albany early Saturday morning.
DiTonno and Sons Demolition crews were on the scene to tear down the heavily damaged building Saturday.
Albany Fire Chief Joseph Gregory says the fire happened at 188 Colonie Street a little after 1 a.m.
The chief says when firefighters arrived, they saw fire out of the second and third-story windows.
The fire also spread to the two surrounding buildings.
The chief says one of those buildings is vacant.
The other building is a home, and residents were allowed to go back inside afterwards.
Chief Gregory says no one was hurt, and the fire was under control by 2:10 a.m.
Investigators are working to find out what caused that fire.
