Deadly Colonie house fire under investigation
Three people died and two were injured after a house fire on Locust Park.
Colonie Police have confirmed that three people died and two were injured after a house fire on Locust Park.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The house is an active crime scene, according to Colonie Fire Chief Jeffrey Kayser.
Chief Kayser also told NewsChannel13 that the scene of the fire was a hoarding house, making it extremely difficult for the victims and crews to get through the flames.
Police say Locust Park will be closed from Central Avenue to Thunder Road until further notice.
