1 dead after 3 people, including 9-year-old child, shot at Albany barbershop: Police

A 47-year-old man died Saturday afternoon in a shooting on Second Avenue in Albany. Albany police said he was one of three people shot at a barbershop in South Albany. He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he died, police said.
Police said they are not releasing the man’s name until family is notified.
According to police, someone fired into the barbershop from the outside, hitting three people inside.
Another man, 19, was shot in the foot and treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Albany Medical Center. A 9-year-old child was grazed by a bullet, police said.
Bullet holes were visible in the barbershop window.
Second Avenue between Bogart Terrace and Frisbee Avenue was reopened just before 6:00 p.m.
