40-year-old Clifton Park woman arrested for six counts of drug possession, assault
Erica M. Lyon, 40, of Clifton Park was arrested on Wednesday by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office for multiple counts of drug possession, as well as assault.
Police say they responded to an assault call on Ashdown Road in Clifton Park on September 30 at 6:08 p.m., which investigation led to Lyon’s arrest.
Lyon is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to someone else by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Additionally, she is charged with knowingly and unlawfully possessing a narcotic drug with the intent to sell, possessing an eighth ounce or more of methamphetamine, and possessing a narcotic drug of an aggregate weight of half an ounce of more, said police.
The Sheriff’s Office says Lyon was charged with six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and one count of second-degree assault.
The assault victim was taken to Ellis Hospital for evaluation and treatment of non-life-threatening injury, said police.
Lyon was arraigned in Clifton Park Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
