6 dead from plane crash in Copake area

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has confirmed in their latest update that six people died in the plane crash Saturday afternoon in the Copake area.
This number includes the five passengers and the pilot.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said a twin engine Mitsubishi MU-2B aircraft crashed in a field near Copake around 12:15 p.m. Saturday.
Officials said the aircraft was headed to Columbia County Airport, which is in Hudson.
The FAA, the NTSB, and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate.
