70th annual Scottish games marches into Capital Region

The 70th annual Capital District Scottish games took over the Altamont Fairgrounds this weekend.

There were tons of activities and entertainment, including pony rides, highland games, and dance performances.
There were also pipe and drum competitions and an opening ceremony that included a parade celebrating tradition and history.
We spoke to one man who says he’s brought his family to the event in Altamont almost every year since 1979.

Next year’s games are already scheduled for August 31.
