International Center of Capital Region hosts “Academic World Quest” at Hudson Valley CC

Competitive high school students from Schenectady City, Shaker, Shenendehowa, and South Colonie schools gathered to compete at the Academic World Quest regional championship game on Saturday.
The competition was hosted by the International Center of the Capital Region at Hudson Valley Community College.
Student were divvied into four-person teams and answered multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions having to do with international affairs.
Questions were divided into 10 unique, thematic categories.
The two winning teams from Shenendehowa now go on to compete in the National Competition, which is in Washington D.C. on April 20, 2024.
