Actress Susan Sarandon was arrested in Albany on Monday after lobbying at the state Capitol.
The actress, former NY lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Ana Maria Archila and others were asking full minimum wage with tips for restaurant workers.
The One Fair Wage organization argues that the increase in minimum wage does not include tipped restaurant workers, which hurts women and single moms of color the most.
Sarandon, the president of One Fair Wage and former New York lieutenant gubernatorial candidate, were among the seven arrested for disorderly conduct by state police.
They were processed, issued appearance tickets and released.
