A carjacking victim in her 80s threw a big party in Albany to say thank you for the help from the community.

Clara Phillips lost her car when she was carjacked by three men in Albany.

After that, many people donated to help her get a new one.

The day after we did a story on Miss Clara, as she is affectionately known, an Albany County couple came forward with a check for $10,000.

Phillips threw a party at the South End Children’s Café, where she works, and invited everyone who contributed to her new car.
