Albany leaders answer questions about gun violence and more

The Albany mayor and interim police chief held a public forum to build trust with the community and answer any questions.

Albany’s top two city leaders held a public forum on Tuesday evening for residents in Albany’s south end.

It’s one of several public forums they plan to have in different neighborhods to build trust.

The city wants to get the message out: if you see something, say something.

One woman at the forum told NewsChannel 13 she became proactive after her daughter died as a result of gun violence.

Now she wants to tell others don’t let it get to that point.
