An Albany County man is facing child pornography charges.

Kyle S. Sweet, 37, of Westerlo, had images consistent with child sexual exploitation, State Police said. They found the images after searching his home on Dec. 4. The investigation was prompted by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Sweet turned himself in to State Police and was charged with promoting a sexual performance and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Sweet was then arraigned at the Westerlo Town Court and released on $30,000 bail bond.
