The Albany County Sheriff’s Office is receiving reports of drone sightings at night.

Sheriff Craig Apple says multiple people have come forward regarding these sightings, which have been widely seen over New York City and New Jersey this week.

On social media, Sheriff Apple says his office is working with the federal government in this investigation.

He is also asking anyone who sees drone activity to capture is on video and do not call 911.

Instead, the Sheriff says to report it to your local police department’s non-emergency dispatch number.
