Albany County’s first new district attorney in two decades is already making some changes.

Just days after he was sworn in, Lee Kindlon said he has already met with all leaders in his new office to talk about how to devote more resources to tackling major crimes.

He’s also trying to open up the office more, calling for an all-staff meeting on his first day.

Prior to winning the election to become the Albany County district attorney, Kindlon was a longtime and prominent defense attorney.
