The search for a killer continued in Albany on Wednesday, as police identified the man killed in a homicide outside a busy Stewart’s Shop. Meantime, NewsChannel 13 has obtained video of the shooting.

The shooting happened at Delaware Avenue and Southern Boulevard, late Tuesday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as Davyjian Grier, 21, of Colonie. Grier was shot dead in his car in the Stewart’s parking lot. Grier had been having a verbal dispute before the shooting, police said.

The shooter chased the car across Delaware Avenue, firing his weapon through the car windows, and then fleeing on foot.

Frightened onlookers went into a panic, many of them ducking for cover.

It was mostly business as usual at that same Stewart’s by Wednesday.
