Man charged with attempted murder in Albany shooting
Man charged with attempted murder in Albany shooting for allegedly trying to kill someone with a handgun.
An Albany man has been charged with attempted murder.
Nasir Abbott, 25, allegedly tried to shoot someone on May 26 in the area of West Street in Albany, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Abbott is also facing a charge of criminal possession of a weapon. He possessed an illegal loaded firearm, according to prosecutors.
Abbott was arraigned in Albany County Court on Thursday, Oct. 3. He is due back in court on Oct. 18.
