Albany man faces drug, weapons charges after search of East Greenbush motel

An Albany man is facing charges after police found guns, ammunition and drugs at an East Greenbush motel.

Police searched the motel on Aug. 9 and found two loaded pistols, 200 bullets, a bulletproof vest and four extended loaded magazines, East Greenbush Police said. They also found 577 grams of cocaine, multiple pills, 53 grams of MDMA, 94 pounds of marijuana, a pair of brass knuckles, and $439 in cash.

Jawon J. Dicarlo, 44, was charged with two felony and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of cannabis.
