Albany Police are continuing to investigate a homicide on Ontario Street.

It happened Wednesday night around 10 p.m.

The victim, Ashad Cooper, 34, died at Albany Medical Center on Thursday.

Police say the victim was involved in several physical altercations throughout the day.

During the last altercation, the victim was shot in the neck by an unknown suspect.

Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
