Man, 38, arrested after crashing stolen car on Clinton Avenue in Albany

A Troy man crashed a stolen car into several other cars in Albany on Thursday afternoon, police said. Some were parked and some were in traffic.
Police tried to stop Tequan Grimes for running a red light around 2:30 p.m. Instead, he sped down Clinton Avenue at about 60 miles per hour, police said. Grimes, 38, crashed after police called off the chase, they said.
Grimes was treated for a cut to his head and taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
He’s charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of stolen property, and unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
He’s due to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Friday morning.
