Albany Police tell us they are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night in the area of Hudson Avenue and Lark Street, leaving one person in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say around 10:35 p.m., they were notified by Albany Medical Center Hospital that a 30-year-old male entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Officers investigated the area and after further investigation, they could not find any evidence that a shooting happened at that location.
