Albany Police investigating shooting on Clinton Ave

Albany Police says they are investigating a shooting that happened on Saturday night.

Police responded to the 200 block of Clinton Avenue near Lark Street around 11:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

Authorities upon arrival located a 34-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his foot.

Police say the victim was treated on the scene and taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital for additional treatment.

Albany PD says the investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Albany Police Detective Division at 518-462-8039.
