Albany man arrested in Friday stabbing
Police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing Friday morning.
Kashawn McKinney, 30, is accused of stabbing a 23-year-old man around 8:45 a.m. in the area of Central Avenue and Ontario Street.
McKinney turned himself in to the Albany Police Department shortly after the incident, police said.

The stabbing followed an argument between a group of people inside Albany News at 396 Central Ave, according to police. McKinney and the victim got in a fight.
McKinney has been charged with one count of assault and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court this afternoon and remanded to the Albany County Jail with bail set at $25,000.
