Police investigating suspicious death on Sheridan Avenue. One person has been charged with concealment of a human corpse.

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A person is being charged with concealment of a corpse after the Albany County Sheriff’s Office said they found the decomposed body of an individual at 301 Sheridan Ave. Friday, July 12.

The body was discovered after investigators received information about a deceased person at the address as part of an ongoing effort to prevent crime, according to Sheriff Craig Apple.

The names of the deceased and the person arrested have not been released. Sheriff Apple said an autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning and the investigation is ongoing.
