Albany traffic stop leads to drug possession charges for Schenectady man
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for alleged drug possession.
Investigators stopped Joseph White, 51, of Schenectady, for a violation near First and Judson streets on Tuesday evening.
They found more than 70 grams of crack cocaine in his car, they said.
White also had a digital scale and plastic Ziplock bags, which are commonly used for weighing and packaging drugs, investigators said.
He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and multiple traffic violations.
He was due in Albany City Court on Tuesday.
