Albany woman facing new charge in big retail theft scheme

An Albany woman indicted in a massive retail theft scheme is facing an additional charge.

Zamaria Williams, 22, allegedly stole more than $1,000 of perfume and makeup from Ulta Beauty on May 6 of this year.

Williams was arrested last week, and charged with grand larceny.

Williams had previously been charged with several counts of grand larceny in connection with thefts at Dick’s Sporting Goods and Kohl’s.

Williams and her co-defendant, Winter Andross, would then allegedly sell the stolen goods on Facebook Marketplace.
