An Albany woman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.

Kyisha Smith appeared in Albany County Court Thursday to face one count of second-degree murder.

Smith is accused of killing James West on South Pearl Street back in May.

Prosecutors have labeled this as a domestic, but the relationship between Smith and West is not clear.

Smith was sent to the Albany County Jail, and will appear back in court in August.
