Albany’s first ever festival to celebrate Caribbean heritage and culture was held today.

The Columbia County Sanctuary Movement hosted its inaugural Caribbean festival at Jennings Landing in Albany.

This cultural celebration was organized by community leaders, artists, and business owners.

Organizers say the festival helps support small businesses run by immigrants and brings exposure to up-and-coming artists.
