Alert Day: Potential for severe storms into this evening
Overnight lows will be cool, in the upper 40s and lower 50s with increasing clouds.
A system developing off the Carolina Coast will slowly track in our direction for the weekend. Clouds and rain will be most likely with this storm south of I-90, with showers less likely in the North Country. With the storm center itself moving through on Sunday, there is a good chance of showers region-wide. There is still a level on uncertainty with the track of this storm, and we will adjust the forecast if necessary.
An isolated shower or two is still possible Monday, otherwise we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the uppers 60s to near 70 for next week.
