First Warning Alert Day: Weather could get more active this afternoon

High pressure will continue to bring plenty of sunshine today, with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Skies turn mostly cloudy overnight as a weather system approaches from the south. Overnight lows will be a bit milder, only dropping into the low 50s and upper 40s.
As of now, Friday looks mostly cloudy with showers likely, especially south of I-90. Highs will be cooler, in the mid to upper 60s.
High pressure moves back in for the weekend bringing plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures. Highs climb from the mid 70s this weekend, to the upper 70s to near 80 by the start of next week.
