First Warning Alert Day: Weather could get more active this afternoon

Comfortable tonight with partly cloudy skies and lows in the lower 60s.

A pronounced ridge will allow highs to climb back into the upper 80s Monday and into the mid to upper 90s Tuesday through Thursday. The first heat wave of the season is likely this week, with increased humidity and consecutive 90+ degree highs. A Heat Advisory has been issued across our area for Tuesday afternoon through Thursday night.

This week stays mostly dry with the chance of a few isolated pop-up showers. The next best chance for showers and storms arrives Friday.

Have a great evening!
