An Amsterdam man is facing drug and weapons charges.

Johannon A. Davis, 44, allegedly had crack cocaine, heroin and paraphernalia associated with narcotics trafficking at his residence on Greene Street, Amsterdam Police said. Police also found a loaded shotgun.

Davis had active warrants for allegedly selling a controlled substance to an undercover officer, police said.

Davis was charged with three felony counts and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a weapon.

Davis was arraigned in Amsterdam City Court and sent to Montgomery County Jail in lieu of bail.
