Amsterdam sex offender accused of impersonating lawyer online

A Level 3 sex offender in Amsterdam was pretending to be a lawyer online, Amsterdam Police said.

Lawrence Elliott Jr., 66, is also accused of not registering that account and other online accounts he had.

He also didn’t check in with police, as required.

He now faces several charges, and was sent to the Montgomery County Jail on $25,000 bail.
